Adora dolls are high-quality, remarkably realistic baby dolls. These realistic baby dolls were initially created in the year 2000 by the Adora Doll Company. The crafters who make the dolls are very detail-oriented. The dolls look real. They feel real and they even have a realistic baby scent. The 2000 collection hit the market under the “Name Your Own Baby” campaign. Collectors loved the concept and the dolls have been a staple for avid doll collectors ever since.

The Adora baby dolls are made from vinyl and they are crafted by professional artists. In 2002, artist Beverly Stoher joined the doll company’s team, creating even more uniquely realistic dolls. Also, in 2002, the company added Limited Edition Adora dolls. The Limited Edition dolls are highly sought after by collectors and they continue to rise in value. The dolls began to vary in 2002. More sizes and faces were available than ever before, making the Adora doll an extremely popular collector’s item.

In 2003 the doll company began introducing even more detail, including ethnicity. The new ethnically diverse dolls were a huge success for the Adora Doll Company and the business earned several awards in 2003. Buyers flocked to collect the magnificent, realistic Adora dolls and the company became a powerhouse in the doll community. The doll company also maintained reasonable prices. The unique baby dolls offered excellent quality, value and affordability.

More Limited Edition Adora dolls were introduced in the 2004 collection. The designers offered six new baby faces to grace the dolls and the company added a new, twenty-five inch toddler doll to the twenty-two inch toddler baby doll collection. These larger dolls were quite popular in 2004 and they continue to be today.

Yahoo Home Page

Every time I start my Internet browser, it goes to the default page. And in my case, the default page is the Yahoo home page. Although I’ve never given the page much thought before I logged onto the yahoo mail page, of late, since I’ve become interested in the global phenomenon called search engine optimization, I’ve begun noticing the yahoo home page with a great deal of interest. To most people, the yahoo home page is nothing but a portal page, leading to many services. But when you look closely, you will realize that the yahoo home page is carefully designed to elicit the maximum click throughs, making it one of the most visited portals on the web,

At the very top of the Yahoo home page, there is the Yahoo masthead with six main links. These links are the products and services that most people would commonly use. They include finance, music, jobs, mail, my Yahoo and the Yahoo messenger. Speaking for myself, I am likely to use all of the above links on a daily basis. I use the Yahoo home page to check out personal finance tips and to see the latest trends in music. When I want to check mail or browse the latest hot jobs, the yahoo home page is my port of call. When I need to interact with my friends, I click on the yahoo messenger link. And my Yahoo on the Yahoo home page is a convenient way to enter my own personalized section on the yahoo portal.

The next item on the yahoo home page is the search box. In keeping with the wide array of search possibilities, this search box comes with tabs for web search, image search, video and audio search, a new directory search, and even local, news and shopping searches. If regular search is not your scene, the yahoo home page also offers you the convenience of going in for an advanced search, searching for specific terms on your web or even using the newly introduced Yahoo answers.

Next on the yahoo home page is the link fest. I like to call this part of the Yahoo home page a link fest, purely because each word on it is a link to one part of the comprehensive Yahoo portal. Broadly called yahoo services, each of these links provide information on specific terms. Whether it is autos, games, kids, maps, mail, mobile, personals, news or even travel, the link fest has something for everyone. Additionally, the link fest on the yahoo home page also has links to other subsidiary sites connected to yahoo. Like personals, which hag grown from a simple service to become a web presence of its own. Or Geocities, which was bought over and integrated by yahoo. Or even photos, which is a free service provided to all yahoo users to store and share their photos.

Other links on the yahoo home page include the latest news reports, a section for the yahoo small business users, entertainment reports, the Yahoo buzz link (which shows you the most searched items on yahoo!) and even yahoo sites worldwide.

Change Machines

If you have a small business, medium sized business or even a large business, you must know that vending machines and other money machines can help increase your revenue and help to promote customer satisfaction. A soda machine can make a long wait seem less tiresome. An ATM machine in a commercial business can encourage impulse buying.

A wise choice to help increase sales, especially if you have other vending machines set up is a change machine. What if a potential customer has only large bills and wants to buy something for a dollar or two? Change machines encourage buying and making transactions more convenient for the customer and the vendor.

Small money oriented businesses like laundry mats and arcades often have customers in need of change. Change machines are also good for motels and hotels, where a person may want to use a pay phone, grab a snack or break bills into change. Kids in school need a rush of energy and definitely could use change machines after class or in lunchrooms. Corporate companies could also use change machines in break rooms for exhausted and thirsty employees.

They can be mounted on vending equipment, inside a wall or on a base. Most are made of heavy steel for protection and feature high-tech optical and magnetic sensors to detect counterfeit money. Usually owners are allowed to choose what kinds of bills and coins they will accept as well as their preferred level of security. Maintenance is generally easy on change machines and advances in technology now allow easy upgrades for currency changes. Batteries in change machines can last years, even decades, and thus ensure power outages won’t affect the machine.

These machines can vary in cost, depending mainly on the technology and the external design. A simple base bill changer can be priced at about $370.00. If you have heavy traffic in your business that investment could be made back within a week. A mini countertop model would cost about a $1000.00 because of the extra convenience. A medium sized front load model would cost $1700.00.

For peace of mind look for a company that offers at least a one or two year warranty on change machines. Shipping to most states takes about 2 weeks and could be as much as $150.00 depending on the model you select.

If you want your customers to relax, stay a while and check out your other vending machines or coin-operated services install change machines for their convenience. In the meantime, you increase your revenue.

Cat Photos

The other day I was watching a local news story on television about a woman that had 32 cats in her home. The cat photos in the story were very disturbing. I love cats and have two of my own. Cats are a wonderful addition to a home, but 32 of them! In the cat photos that accompanied the story the kitties were thin and some appeared deformed. These were definitely not cat photos that would be included in anyone’s collection.

Being a cat lover I personally have a large selection of cat photos. Some of the cat photos I have taken myself of my own furry friends, and others I have collected from various sources throughout the years. Cats seem to have a great effect on people. You either love them or hate them. I have several friends that hate cats, so they go out of their way to find cat photos the depict cats in dangerous situations, or doing stupid things. Some of my husband’s favorite cat photos depict hundreds of cats in a variety of sizes sitting in a room. The captions on these cat photos were definitely written by a cat hater. In this collection of cat photos is one caption that reads “so many cats, so few recipes”. The friend that sent the cat photos with that one included knows that I collect recipes so he thought this was extra humorous.

Along with the funny cat photos I also have a wide variety of pictures of cats that are sweet and dignified. The great thing about cat photos is that cat lovers and haters both enjoy looking at them. As I was looking through several cat photos the other day I noticed that I had many that showed cats sleeping in a variety of positions and in a variety of places. I guess this is not surprising considering cats sleep about 20 hours out of every day. I thought it would be fun to make copies of the sleeping cat photos and spread them throughout the guest bedroom. Nothing looks more relaxed than a cat sleeping, so I thought these cat photos would lend to a good nights rest. I am still trying to convince my husband that this is a good idea.

This year I sent out holiday cards that included cat photos of our Siamese and long haired cat. I sent these greetings to the pets of our friends and signed our cat’s names. Several of our friends fear that I am tuning into a weird cat lady and that they will be seeing me on the news some day with cat photos of hundreds of cats in my home. They say it is a fine line between cat lover and weird cat lady.

Aloe Vera Juice

Filed Under (Health) by admin on 31-12-2006

Aloe vera juice is the liquid that comes out of the aloe vera plant when cut or squeezed. For hundreds and probably thousands of years it has been used medicinally as a soothing balm for burns, cuts and scrapes. Today it is used for the same purposes, and also many more. I love aloe vera juice for sunburn treatment, and I also find it makes a great skin moisturizer to be used after shaving or on dry patches of skin.

Aloe vera juice has more recently become very popular as a drink and for use internally. As I’ve always been kind of interested in the benefits of aloe vera juice, I’ve been doing some of my own research about its use internally but unfortunately haven’t discovered anything very favorable. My initial searches online yielded a whole host of site with rather outrageous claims about aloe vera juice drinks making you live long, preventing and even fighting cancers, kidney disease, heart disease, and much more. Type in aloe vera juice in a search engine and you’ll quickly see what I mean.

I looked a little further however and eventually came to some trustworthy health sites with articles posted by doctors and other medical professionals about aloe vera juice. I couldn’t find anyone referring to any studies linking to any of the claims I saw in the torrent of ads I read through. Apparently, aloe vera juice just hasn’t been tested that well for use internally.

While its is more or less non-toxic, meaning it won’t kill you to drink it, drinking too much can apparently induce nausea. The only proven medical use has been as a laxative, as it apparently is a pretty strong purgative. Strangely enough, I never once found it advertised as a laxative, but only as ways to live longer, boost your immune system, cure cancer, and all that other rubbish.

So while I continue to use aloe vera juice daily externally, I’m not really sold on its use as a drink. Not only does it taste pretty bad, but it just seems like a risk no worth taking. It could have all sorts of potential side effects I’m not aware of, which isn’t worth it when there isn’t any proven benefit except for as a laxative. There are plenty of other laxatives out there that have been rigorously tested, and I’d feel much safer using one of those.
